I am an evolutionary genomicist studying the origin and diversification of birds.
I received my PhD in Genomics in 2024 and am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Evolutionary & Organismal Biology, Zhejiang University. My work spans avian phylogenomics, comparative genomics, transposable elements and speciation.
During my doctoral training I was co-supervised by Guojie Zhang and Shaohong Feng and contributed to the Family phase of the Bird 10,000 Genomes Project. I continue to work with B10K in its Genus phase.
